If you are new to the world of blogging and are just starting out here’s a couple things to remember:

  1. {Content} What are you talking about?
  2. {Traffic} How are you marketing your blog?
  3. {Passion} Do you care about what you are posting?
So… you need a website?

Elisha and I just got back from voting and having lunch at The Bite Market & Cafe, in downtown Muskogee.  The Bite is a refreshing trendy lunch spot (open 11a-2p) that we stumbled upon.  We both agree that it’s a very much needed addition to “Skogee”.  Elisha had a chicken salad sammy and I had a club — both were amazing, best lunch spot in town!  I hope they open for dinner with a wine/cheese /chocolate cake feel.  Speaking of dessert, below is my lemon bar from The Bite that I saved for tonight’s treat.  I love lemon bars and this one will have me going back ASAP!

As you can see I have not posted in a while… but was inspired by The Bite and excited for downtown Muskogee.  In addition to lunch we picked up matching OK #Thunder shirts (by DNA Galleries).  Even though The Thunder didn’t win… we’re darn proud of the team and Oklahoma!

If you’re a business you probably should be on Pinterest… if not, you might be behind and missing out.  It’s not just for stay-at-home moms or posting dream home pics, it’s actually a marketing tool. {Pinterest Marketing} a two way street and can be a promotional machine-gun if used properly. Use an image to get the conversation rolling and let the power of social media chatter away.  I found a great resource from Blue Glass Agency [click here] that tells what it is, and how to use it — be careful… it can be addicting!

Usually Apple products work well, and when they don’t, well there’s a good reason.  For months now I’ve been trying to figure out why my Apple Airport Extreme has had a flashing amber light — instead of a green light (which means all is good).  It was my mistake for not launchng Airport Utility sooner but in my defense the internet was still working.  Turns out it was simply a Firmware update — after the update we were back to green.
